About HojojutsuTengu

HojojutsuTengu has been an author and writer since 2020, drawn in by the damsel-in-distress genre of art. He is focused on his own created universe around Miyuri Gozen and her adventures. Think Daphne Blake, Catwoman, or Wonder Woman from the early 1990 cartoon series. During the 2020 pandemic lock downs, the author learned to draw and write through self-instruction eventually creating the character of Miyuri Gozen. Miyuri holds a special place in the author's heart for her tenacity, spirit, and conviction. Shortly after her creation, she became popular with the D.I.D community on Deviantart and received such critical acclaim the author swore to complete at least one book of her canonical adventures. Alongside his pursuit in storytelling and digital art, the author also pursued learning Kinbaku and Shibari, real life Japanese rope bondage techniques, and currently ties with his real-life partner MycheviousDamsel.  Outside of kink and BDSM, Hojo and Mychevious spend their time playing video games, tabletop board games, powerlifting, and being attentive to their four lovable cats; Rin, Ryu, Bibi, and Yuki.

Hojo also has a strong history in martial arts and trains in Katori Shinto Ryu Kenjutsu, Japanese Jujutsu and Judo, as well as dabbling in various mixed martial arts combat styles. He likes to focus on real world self-defense training and enjoys weapon sparring the most from the various arts. An avid powerlifter and prior Crossfit coach, he sees the value in the physical body and training not just for health, but spirit as well. Some of his favorite games are Resident Evil, Fatal Frame, Nioh, and various samurai inspired video games. Anime that come to mind as heavy influences are Jujutsu Kaisen, Rurouni Kenshin, Dragonball, Samurai Deeper Kyo, Samurai Champloo, and any other period pieces around Japanese history and mythology. The Legend of Miyuri Gozen is his first book in a possible series. He will never forget the hyper-energetic schoolgirl samurai who stole the hearts of so many others and thanks her many fans.
